Alex Kirk

Alex Kirk is a web programmer from Vienna. Ever since he came across the WWW in the mid-90s he has been creating websites that do more than just present content. He was a founding member of Netvibes.com, other projects include thinkery,colorillo, podmash and many more.

Eva Neumeier

Eva works at a PR agency situated in Vienna’s oldest co-working space Schraubenfabrik. Focussing on cultural and creative industries she’s dealing with all things related to communication, PR and social media. Originally from Upper Austria, she came to Vienna for her studies of Communication Sciences, specialising in corporate blogs, and has since then been involved with WordPress.

Emanuel Blagonic

Emanuel has more than 13 years of experience and more than 500 different projects with worldwide clients on his back. From designing websites to designing touch–screen applications, he worked with small and big clients, startups and global projects. Although primarily a designer, he’s been in love with WordPress for the past 10 years, being one of the biggest promoters in Croatia – writing articles about WordPress that are not only promoting WordPress but open source as well. He helped organize WordCamp Croatia and organizes WordPress Meetup Zagreb with his brother Lucijan.

As one of the pioneers of the web standards movement in Croatia he is active in community where he works on building a better understanding for design process and educates clients as much as possible. Can be found on Twitter as @eblagonic.

Jenny Beaumont

Jenny is co-organizer of WordCamp Paris, a frequent speaker at WordCamps in France and abroad, and a contributor to a number of blogs. After 17 years building things in and around the web, she is gearing up for a year-long sabbatical and some big career changes.

Juraj Kiss

Theme developer at Webikon, WP enthusiast and bicycle freak. He had to take his IT school leaving exam twice because of using Google.

When not coding stuff and things, he enjoys riding bikes and drinking beer with his pals from BikeKitchen Bratislava, listening to reggae music, building mobile soundsystems and owns probably the largest collection of songs about bicycles.

Letizia Barbi

Letizia Barbi is an International Communication Specialist with a bachelor degree in journalism and a master degree in marketing and communication. With more than 6 years experience in different marketing sectors, from PR agencies to multinational enterprises, Letizia successfully helps companies increase awareness with planning, execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns.

Letizia powers most of her client’s architectures with WordPress, helping them to better communicate their values and successes.

Letizia has been managing international events as her primary skill since the very early of her career.

Luca Sartoni

Luca Sartoni is a media professional with more than a decade of technical and marketing background. Thanks to his extensive experience in different business environments, from SMEs to large corporate projects, Luca helps companies scale up their business adopting data driven strategies. He does not believe in Santa Claus, magical spells and everything that is not backed up by facts. Luca is a Growth Engineer at Automattic.

In addition to his consulting background, Luca is a well renowned blogger and a speaker in the online communications industry.

Luis Rull

Luis Rull is a WordPress lover who tries to be a bridge between those who have things to tell and coders who help them to deliver the message. Free software advocate and working with WordPress since 2006, now works in Mecus.es, a company which finds communication solutions with WordPress. A WordCamp and WC MeetUp Sevilla organizer and speaker, es_ES validator, also co-organizes TEDxSevilla & EBE, the largest Social Media & Tech event in Spain. Father of two angles, married to a goddess.

Milan Ivanovic

Milan lives and breathes WordPress: He is one of the founders of the WordPress community in Serbia, the organizer of WPSerbia Meetups and proud organizer of WordCamp Belgrade.

Working as a Web developer at Devana Technologies, the company behind ManageWP.

Noel Tock

Noel is a Swiss digital nomad wandering the globe and one of the owners at Human Made, a WordPress.com VIP partner. There he heads up product development, including Happytables, Nomadbase and any other ideas brought to life. If he’s not working on product design, he’s having a gin and tonic. Peter Nemčok

Peter Nemčok is an WordPress enthusiast from Bratislava, Slovakia and an Enabler in the WordPress agency Webikon.

He loves giving back to the community by translating WordPress and organizing Bratislava meetups, WordCamp Slovakia and WordCamp Europe.

Paolo Belcastro

Paolo Belcastro is the Store Division Lead at Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com. The Store Division is in charge of promoting and selling premium upgrades to WordPress.com users, as well as supporting Business and Enterprise accounts, with a focus on providing an exceptional user experience.

Paolo started developing online products from Paris, France in 1994 with ParisHotels.com, managed and monetized high profile domain name portfolios from 1998. In 2004 he founded his own internet consultancy firm in Geneva, Switzerland.

Paolo Belcastro is from Italy, studied photography at the ENS Louis Lumière in Paris, France. Modern nomad, after Italy, France, and Switzerland, Paolo currently lives in Vienna, Austria. Passionate photographer, he also dedicates his free time to the WordPress community through the organization of WordCamp Europe and WordCamp Vienna.

Petya Raykovska

Petya is a Senior Project Manager at Human Made and the WordPress Polyglots team communication lead for Europe.

She fell in love with the WordPress community in Leiden during WordCamp Europe 2013 and since then helped organise WordCamp Europe 2014 in Sofia and WordCamp Europe 2015 in Seville. You can find her on Slack, Twitter or Instagram.

Rocío Valdivia

Rocío is Community Organizer at Automattic. Spanish Computer Engineer in love with Open Source, technology, travelling and personal challenges. She specializes in BuddyPress, a tool to develop social networks. She has experience as WordPress consultant and freelance developer. Co-organises WordCamp Sevilla. Remkus de Vries

Remkus is an enthusiastic WordPress aficionado from Fryslân, The Netherlands. Back in 2007 he founded his WordPress specialist company ForSite Media and has since been expanding in all areas WordPress. He’s been the Dutch admin for WordPress, and has been the lead-organizer of WordCamp Netherlands 5 times now and this will also be his fourth WordCamp Europe. Sara Rosso

Sara is Director of Marketing at Automattic (WordPress.com & more). She has worked in technology since 1996 for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Ogilvy, and she’s been using WordPress since 2006. Sara is also a writer, photographer, technology lover, and business & digital strategist. Originally from California, she’s been living in Italy for twelve years and is currently in Rome.

Scott Evans

Scott studied graphic communication and digital media at the University for the Creative Arts in England and has two D&AD yellow pencils for his work in digital design. During the day he works as a front end developer and designer on the WordPress.com VIP team at Automattic. Veselin Nikolov

Veselin has 15 years of experience as a Software Engineer. He joined Automattic in 2011 and for the last several years has been working on the WordPress.com Store. He lives in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he is part of the WordCamp Sofia team. He is geek, introvert, father, and has a master’s degree in Information Systems.
